MEET THE DOCTORS

Dr. ChaneyMeet Dr. Reid L. Chaney

"I enjoy being able to interact with such a variety of people. It is so important to me to be able to grow, not only as a dentist but as a person. I learn from my patients on a daily basis and I appreciate all they have given me. I chose dentistry to help others fulfill their dental health care needs. Every patient is unique and must be treated as such; everyone deserves the same amount of attention and respect."
– Dr. Chaney

Education and continuing education

Originally from Kannapolis, NC, Dr. Chaney attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill for his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. He proceeded to Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. As the dental profession is constantly evolving, Dr. Chaney understands the importance of remaining up to date on new dental technology and materials. He has completed courses in occlusion through the Dawson Academy and is certified in both Invisalign® clear aligner treatment and Lumineers® veneers.

Outside the office

Dr. Chaney resides in Concord, NC with his wife Ashelea, son Colson, and daughter Baylor. His free time is spent playing golf, traveling, visiting with friends and family, and attending UNC sports events.

Being able to help others is very important to Dr. Chaney, whether it is with his family, church, community, or professional relationships. He believes that, as a dentist, he should use his abilities as much as possible to help those with dental needs. To that end, he is a volunteer with the Community Free Clinic and Give Kids a Smile.

Meet Dr. Yuliya Rudnitsky

Education & continuing education

Born in Ukraine, Dr. Yuliya’s family emigrated to the United States when she was only two years old.  At age 13, she and her family settled in Harrisburg, NC, where it has been home for her ever since.  Dr. Yuliya graduated from Hickory Ridge High School and went on to study Biology at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  Upon graduation, she went on to East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine.  While in clinical rotations, she realized her passion to serve the underserved, especially children, in the rural parts of North Carolina.

Dr. Yuliya continued her dental education by completing a General Practice Residency in Omaha, Nebraska.  There, she spent time in both the hospital dental clinic and VA clinics.  Through this experience, she not only learned about the latest dental treatments and technologies, but also developed a love for building relationships with patients.  She is excited for the opportunity to use her skills and compassion to serve her community.

Outside the office

Dr. Yuliya currently resides in Harrisburg, NC.  When she is not enhancing smiles at the office, Dr. Yuliya enjoys spending time with her church, especially teaching children’s Sunday school.  She also is very active with kickboxing and going on hikes, and at home she really loves drinking good coffee and baking desserts!  Interesting fact about Dr. Yuliya: she is fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian!
